Have you ever observed an individual with ASD refusing to follow an instruction or attempting to avoid work demands? It is not uncommon for parents and educators to be faced with challenging behaviors that interfere with daily tasks and the classroom environment. In this session, Dr. Lori Ernsperger will provide parents and educators with evidence based strategies for shifting “No” moments to “Yes” moments with the focus on building behavioral momentum through the use of choice-making, interspersals, and concrete instructions.
